A joyous wedding celebration turned into un-imaginable tragedy after a deadly road accident claimed the lives of 14 people, including the bride and bride-groom, in Bagerhat’s Mongla.
The bodies were taken to the victims’ homes Thursday night, where the village of Shela Bunia has been overwhelmed with grief and mourning.
One of the victims has already been buried while the rest to be laid to rest in Mongla and Khulna.
Earlier on Thursday, the mishap occurred in Rampal when a Navy bus collided with a microbus carrying wedding guests in the afternoon.
