The test was conducted before Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia last year.

According to a report by South Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization and World Anti-Doping Agency, banned substances were found in her sample. 

Mabia denied any wrongdoing, saying she took medicine for knee pain and allergies with a doctor’s advice. 

She plans to appeal the decision within 14 days, claiming she had a valid prescription.
