BNP has sold more than 500 nomination forms on the first day for women’s reserved seats. The sale started at its central office in the capital.
According to BNP leaders, on the first day, over 500 forms have been sold, while 19 have already been submitted.
They say, each form costs 2 thousand taka, and each candidate is depositing taka 50 thousand when submitting the form.
The sale will continue until April 12. According to the election schedule, the last date to submit nomination papers is April 21.
Verification will take place on April 22 and 23. Appeals can be made on April 26, with decisions on April 27 and 28. The final date to withdraw candidacy is April 29.
