Argentina took the lead early in the match at Monumental in Buenos Aires.
Julian Alvarez gave the team the lead after 4 minutes.
Eight minutes later, Enzo Fernandez's goal extended the lead for the Albiceleste.
Brazil reduced the gap in the 26th minute through Matheus Chunha's goal.
However, they could not hold on for long. In the 37th minute, Mac Allister doubled Argentina's lead.
After that, Brazil could not get back into the match despite coming back from a set piece.
Instead, they conceded another goal in the 71st minute.
