Bangladesh Interim government Chief Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus has urged China to play a stronger role in establishing peace, prosperity and stability in Bangladesh and China.
He made the call during a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
He also said, Bangladesh expects China to play a stronger role in the safe repatriation of the Rohingyas.
The Chief Adviser Dr Yunus held a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing this morning.
The two leaders discussed various issues related to bilateral interests. The discussion also included the Special Economic Zone for China and the Teesta project.
