Bangladesh will get 71 lac doses of Pfizer-BioNTech and 18 lac of Moderna vaccines as part of US donation and regular supply under the COVAX facility.
This was disclosed by State Minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam. Bangladesh will receive 71 lac Pfizer-BioNTech doses as US donation and 18 lac Moderna doses under regular COVAX allocation.
These vaccine doses will be shipped in the last quarter of this year, added the minister. He said, they are hopeful of getting more vaccine allocations during the period, and thanked the USA and COVAX for the supply.
