Although the government has announced to run public-private offices with half of its manpower from Monday, it has not started in most of the institutions including the secretariat.
Earlier, the government issued new directives for public and private offices in a bid to curb the spread of Omicron, the mostly contagious variant of coronavirus. The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Sunday. As per directives, all the government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices will run with half of manpower from today to February 6. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will issue separate directives on running court activities during this period.
