The number of coronavirus infection in Bangladesh's northern and southern bordering districts is rising amid lockdown and strict restrictions.
Business organisations in Khulna are open amid the ongoing 7-day strict restriction in the district. As the number of COVID patients has increased, a new coronavirus unit has been opened in Khulna hospital.
People are going outside home showing various excuses in Rajshahi metropolitan city and Satkhira amid lockdown. People are reluctant to follow the health guidelines.
However, administration is active to implement the lockdown. Infection is also rising in bordering district Jashore.
Besides, people in Chapainawabganj are not following the health rules even being COVID hotspot. A 7-day lockdown has been imposed in Norail Sadar and Lohagora upazilas to curb the spread of coronavirus.
On the other hand, Sherpur municipality is under 14-day strict restriction.
