Under its influence deep convection is taking place and steep pressure gradient lies over North Bay and adjoining areas. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and strong elsewhere over North Bay.  

Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh.

The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number THREE, repeat THREE.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
