At least 30 houses including Jhut warehouses were burnt in a massive fire that broke out at Tongi area in Gazipur early Saturday.
The fire broke out around 3 am at the Upazila's Milgate area. Later, it spread at the adjacent areas. On information, 8 units of Fire Service brought the fire under control after three-hour of hectic efforts.
Fire Service said, the fire was brought under control early on Saturday. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
