BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called upon the party's leaders and activists to be united and join the movement to free Khaleda Zia.
He said this while addressing a silent procession of the Nationalist Women's Party in Naya Paltan on Wednesday morning demanding release of Khaleda Zia and her medical treatment abroad. Mirza Fakhrul said, government is also afraid of silent processions.
As a result women's wing of BNP not allowed to hold procession. Mentioning that, the law is not a barrier to Khaleda Zia's treatment, Mirza Fakhrul said, government has taken this measure to keep Khaleda Zia aside from politics.
