An Israeli strike in the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh has killed two civil defense workers who were involved in rescue operations. 

The attack took place on Tuesday despite an existing ceasefire, raising fresh concerns about stability in the region. 

At the same time, uncertainty surrounding the Iran-United States ceasefire has increased. 

US President Donald Trump said the ongoing truce with Tehran is now in a “very critical condition.

” Iran, however, says any end to the conflict depends on stopping attacks across all fronts, including Gaza and Lebanon.
