In a social media post, US president Donald Trump said, discussions between the United States, Iran, and several Middle Eastern nations are almost complete.

The proposed deal may also include reopening the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry says, both sides have moved closer in recent talks, although some key issues still remain unresolved.

Trump also mentioned positive discussions with leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar on promoting peace in the Middle East.
