In response to the US attacks, the IRGC claims to have launched retaliatory strikes on US bases across the Middle East.

Furthermore, the US Central Command claims that four Iranian drones were shot down near the Strait of Hormuz, while also confirming a strike on a military facility in the Bandar Abbas area.

In contrast, Iran claims it shot down a US aircraft in the Bushehr region, an assertion the United States has denied.

Meanwhile, Washington has imposed fresh economic sanctions on Tehran to halt its toll collection from ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
