The protest was held this morning at the TCB headquarters in Karwan Bazar.

Bellal Hossain, convener of the TCB Dealers’ Protection Movement, alleged that the authorities were trying to amend the dealership policy to appoint new dealers and create opportunities for financial irregularities. 

He said existing dealers were suddenly denied the chance to renew their agreements without any specific reason. 

Dealers also alleged that they face demands for extra payments and harassment.

 They called for the cancellation of provisions in the 2025 dealership appointment and management policy and its later amendments.
